The separation of Dumbo from his caged mother is one of the saddest scenes in Disney history and can upset sensitive kids. Dumbo also accidentally gets drunk, leading to the surreal Pink Elephants sequence, and some dated stereotyping appears in the crow characters. Emotionally heavy but manageable from about age 5.
