Parent Verdict

The darkest Star Wars film: Anakin murders children (implied off-screen), Jedi are gunned down in a montage, and he's graphically dismembered and burned alive at the end. The imagery earned the franchise's first PG-13 for good reason. Save it for 12 and up even if kids have seen the others.
