Parent Verdict

The early games are cruder and more brutal — tributes beaten with bricks, a swarm of snakes devouring a girl, and hangings shown as public spectacle. Watching the protagonist slide into villainy is the real dark heart of the film. For 13 and up like the rest of the series.
